Snow camo ground blinds?

Anyone here use snow camo portable blinds?  Just wondering how well the deer tolerate them at close ranges.  

Thinking about having a friend sew up a few white sheets to cover up my Double Bull.  Just wanted to get some opinions before I put her to work.

I don't have any blinds,But when it snows I use disposable tyvec suit with the hoods it makes you almost invisible in the snow and they are pretty waterproof and they also block wind and your odor.you should be able to get them from the H Depot if you want one Pm me.

mojostick- good compound and rifle blinds - but my bows are taller than the blinds are ....

I have killed several deer just using regular snow camo clothing. They look right thru you...most of my shots were under 10 yards on the ground. The only benefit I see to a blind might be as a wind barrier...but a snow blind, IMO, is not necessary.

Go to the hardware store and buy enough bunji cord (bulk) to go around your blind twice.  You can then attach about anything to the sides.  Mix a little cattail or corn over your sheets and it should be great.

Hey Bill,  That's what got my interest.  From my experiences to, it seems whitetails are very susceptable to snow camo.  

I use my DB for turkeys, but I don't like to take time to brush it in for deer.  Just thinking maybe we could get by in the snow without having to brush them in.

The blind would be warmer and I could take a fidgety youngster with and still have some success.

Thanks, I followed the IW thread. Looks like "Hardcore" killed one at 50 yards.  Would be nice to hear some more experiences.  15 yards would be better for me.

It has too be snowing hard for this to work, but if you are wearing good heavy wool outerwear and sit still, the snow will stick to it and you will soon be invisible. my hunting partner back in the 80s loved this trick. he had a set of vintage red plaid clothes that would keep him warm in a blizzard. the only thing that sticks out is your bow

I have a Double Bull custom-made for me out of Predator Snow camo.  It's really nice, although Predator is not my favorite brand of snow camo and is a little too aggressive a camo (if that makes sense).  Still, when set up in appropriate places, deer give it a look or two and then go about their business usually.  I've not used it near enough; usually the problem has been lack of snow, but that's not the case the last couple weeks.  Now it's a case where I can't get even close to my hunting spots as we've been hammered and I don't have a snowmobile.

I have used white sheets on my Apache ground bind for snow camo.Pretty easy to do.I used large safety pins and clothes pins to attach the sheets to it.
