A little help please. I'm shaking!
« on: April 13, 2007, 09:22:00 PM »
Do to surgery and arthritis I have had to drop down in bow weight. The problem is that when I shoot a bow of 45# or less at my draw lenght I shake. I pick up a 50# bow at my draw and no shaking. 55# no shaking. 40# SHAKING again????

I started shooting about 45 yrs ago and have never had this happen. Help please...Thanks

The only thing I can think of is with the lower weight bows you may be drawing a little different.Maby more back tension or something that lets you use a different muscle group more.I would say that with a little conditioning the shaking will go away.I would warm up and do some stretching before and after you shoot to advoid an injury.I wish you the best and a quick recovery.
