Prroblems with DLC Covert Camera

Has anybody had any problems with the DLC Covert brand of scouting camera's. I purchased one a couple of weeks ago and twice when I checked it there was only one pic on it. It acts like sometimes it does not want to work.

are you turning the camera "OFF" before you put your SD cards in, then turn it "ON" again?
If you don't do that, it won't record anything.

Yep Ray, when I change cards, I turn the camera off, switch cards, and then turn it back on and look for the red light to come on. I have it set with the basic setting it came with. I set it up in the house and it works but twice it has hosed me in the field.

If it works in the house, I'd say either nothing is tripping it, or something funky with lighting is inhibiting it, or maybe someone is messing with you? Not being familiar with them...Is the card locked inside?

Make sure you dont have the camera taking pictures for only certain Hours throughout the 24 Hour period. That will be one of the settings you have to check on.

The card is not locked, it only takes the first pic on set up. I will pull it in tomorrow and check the set up again. The place I put it, there should be a main trail. The one time it worked, It captured 268 times. Tom you have a point with the lighting, It faces south but it has worked previous. I changed cards thinking it was a faulty card.

They have great customer service. Give them a call or send an email. I had a problem with a camera and had to ship it back. They had to replace it and didn't have my model so they sent the more expensive one. Good People

Are you formatting the card each time you put a new one in with the remote?
What is the delay set on?
