I understand what it is but am curious as to the origin of the name, is it an anogram or is it a reference to the star trek character?

Yup, named after his own "man's best friend".

He is also a fan of Star Trek. He talks about the Borg every now and then also. The man has a sense of humor and can shoot lights out.

What do the star ship enterprise and toilet paper have in common?
They both circle Uranus looking for klingons!

So what is warfing for those of us who don't know?
My dog's name is is Winter. So the term "Winterizing" around our house has come to mean "wrecking something by chewing and/or eating it."
Warfing the same thing?

Bob Gordon began making recurve bows from “old” compound risers. He alters the limb pockets to accept either I.L.F., or Quinn limbs. It has become an extremely popular recurve. He dubbed the bow WARF which is/was the name his pet boxer.
