Well, most who know me know that I'm a recurve guy. Well I've only been able to find one longbow that I can shoot as good as my recurve. (Now I've found 2) Jim Reynolds hunted with us last fall and we had this same discussion. He said  "Heck Mike, I can build ya one that will shoot the same". And that he did. Got this about a month ago and haven't been able to post cause I've been trying to break it in right. Well the does aren't cooperating so here are some pics.
It's 60"MOAB 53@27. Osage handle with eucaliptus veneers on the limbs. The shelf is cut past center so I can shoot them the same. I even use the same arrows as my recurve with just a tip adjustment. A beauty to say the least. Enjoy!

Jim makes an excellent bow!! It's smooth, quiet, and spits an arrow. Not to mention absolutely gorgeous! Thanks Jim.

Because of the woods I thought it fitting to have Jim put the name on her. This one is engraved"Devil Dog".

I'm hoping that Jim makes it to Jeff City this yr and that he hauls at least one low poundage MOAB that I can test fire. Yours looks great BTW. Congratulations!
God bless,Mudd
