BH for Cascade Golden Hawk Magnum
« on: December 29, 2009, 01:40:00 PM »
Anyone with the 52" bow? I have it set at 6 1/2"s right now, but like at least 7. I've twisted the string pretty much to it's max. Might have to get a shorter string depending on BH. thanks...

I have two, both 52 inch one 65 lbs at 27 and one 56 at 27.  Both of mine shoot best when set at 7 ND 3/8 ths inch measured from the throat of the grip to the string.  This with b50 dacron strings.

If your 52 inch mag brace hight is at 6 1/2 you will have to much string hitting or resting on the limb. If you have a flemish string 8 twist should get you to  7 inches. The bow will also make less noise at 7.
