There is a new trad archery magazine called Trad Archers World. There is less advertising more great articles, and how too. Printed in Wisconsin.

Actually, as I understand it, Trad Archers World is what used to be the Bowyers Journal, though I think instead of focusing strictly on bowyering, they have expanded their topics.

I'll check it out. I'm probably committing a sacrilege here but to be honest, I haven't been more than skimming through much of TBM for years.  I mean how many "I hunted a ________can you read?! I'll subscribe if TAW has more:"how to-". God knows, I need more of that!  :)   Still love hunting though-that's the important thing!

I really like Trad Archers World.  TBM's hunting articles are well written, but can get a bit long and drawn out.  The hunting articles are much shorter in Trad Archer's world.

To me Trad Archer's World fills the gap between TBM (too few how to articles)and Primitive Archer (plenty of how to's, but obviously only pertaining to primitive archery).

I really liked The Bowyer's Journal, but it started going down hill in it's last few issues. Tom Colstad (editor of Trad Archers World) really turned the magazine around, and I really wish him continued success - If for nothing else, my own reading enjoyment.

Steve,

It's hardly new.  Been in production under a couple of names for a few years and owners.  It is getting better as time goes by.

It is a continuation of the bowyers journal. All new look, and new mission. Lots of how to, with a mix of short hunting articles. I have enjoyed mine.  www.tradarchersworld.com
