Long bow for X-large hands

I have X large and hands and most LB's push some part of my hand past the shelf. Who makes and what style of LB  would work better for me. I Currently shoot a Thunder stick III that is very sweat but Mudd has me thinking about a HH. Any feed back would be much appreciated.

I think the way the Hills handles are you have more area to for a wider hand to sit below the shelf.

thats what the dished or straight grip the Hills have looks to  me too.

I have an older Tembo with a sharp cut and it's got plenty of room.Ask Tom Mussatto he knows Hills

Most bowyers will make a grip as big as you need. I have the same problem, this grip is 2" front to back.

Dave Underwood in Kentucky makes a string follow Hill-style that's superb. I have one I got in a trade and it has a really big grip. Lonewolf73 has his contact info, so maybe he'll see this and PM it to you. I have it somewhere in the workshop, but it may be a stretch to find it this time of year.

ChekMate has a reputation of being "beefy" in the handle.  The Crusader is a mild r/d.  Nice performer, and a real reasonable price to boot.

I was amazed at how the grip worked for me with my Big 5. It looks like it could accommodate hands much larger than mine and mine aren't tiny. The niftiest thing about it even without any sign of a locator my hand automatically gets in the best position for making the shot. I mean it's "right there" each and every time without a thought given to it.
 I think you'd be ahead of the game if you went somewhere they had a few HH style bows and fondled them..lol IMHO

Here's another vote for a straight-handled Hill.  I"m 6'4" and have some pretty big paws and mine fits me very well...

If your hand is crowding the shelf, than a beefier handle is only part of the cure. The locator if desired would have to be made bigger and lower. HH bows are nice, but not for everybody, nor are RD bows, but you will find more options on custom grips with the RD's.

Fedora's bows are certainly not Hill style, but are known for haveing larger more beefy grip sections.  The one piece Fedoras I have handled were far too bulky for my taste and I have fairly large hands myself.

JD Berry longbows have a nice grip.Have an apollo and a viper.the grips fit my big mitts pretty well.

I have very large hands and I prefer a small grip.  At least the diameter of the grip.  Top to bottom a short grip might pose a problem.  The most important thing to keep your hand from crowding the self would be to lower the locator portion or pivot point.  Big Jim nailed it.
