Fletch (3) @ 90 degrees
« on: January 02, 2010, 11:22:00 AM »
Been shooting (4) 4" feathers @ 90 degrees and (3) 5" @ 120; haven't seen any difference in flight or impact.

The other day one of the 90 degree 4" feathers came off so now I'm shooting one arrow with (3) 4" feathers @ 90 degrees. Looking from the knock end I have one feather at 1 o'clock, 10 o'clock and 7 o'clock. Arrow looks really weird but it still flies perfectly with field points. Haven't tried it with broadheads yet. Does anyone have any comments or expierience with this set up?

Sorry I don't but if it works good with a broadhead do let us know please.   :coffee:

I have several arrows that all but lost one feather, and have just two and a partial stub 8^).  They shoot with the others, even with Bear Razorheads on them.

I have shot 2 at the 120 mark when a feather fell off, they shot fine. This happened alot a few years ago when I fletched some aluminum arrows with duco.Duco just didn't hold but it was all I had at the time. But I saved the feathers and reglued them with fletch-tite.
