Kalamazoo drive
«

Is there any Carolineans making the drive to Kalamazoo. It has been four years since I have been but thinking about that drive. I do not want to drag my wife along again. It is about 11 hours for us.
How many of you drive and how long does it take you. Am I the only crazy one to drive that far?

I don't think you're the only crazy one. We have an addiction, and in January Kalamazoo is the best fix we can get!
My drive is much shorter from WI (5 hours?) But I can't avoid going through Chicago to get there and that adds enough frustration to make it seem like 11 hours!
Hope to see you there - stop by my booth and say hello!

About 6 hours if the weather is not too bad. No way to avoid the edge of Chicago from here either - its always a cluster.
Kzoo is a wonderful expo. I spend as much time visiting friends as I do viewing and shopping. The last couple of years I even managed not to buy a bow but doubt if that streak will last as Northern Mist has been calling my name.
Whip, bring some hats in XL, my fedora is getting worn and a back up is in order.

Love to go with ya Stalker but don't think I can manage to get away. Made the haul quite a few times when I used to go visit, moved from Michigan in '83, just haven't been in awhile.

This will be our 1st time going. Google maps says it takes 8 hours but it will go fast. 3-4 bowhunters can tell a lot of lies......I mean stories.

I made the 10 hour drive last year, ALONE. It was a long boring ride, but very worth it. I'm trying to talk my wife into tagging along this year. We'll see...Mike

mooseman, been there on the solo drive. Are you in Schuykill Co? If you end up running solo, I'd like to hook up with you. Email sent.

That is a graet trad event to go to. I got stuck up there last year in a heck of a lake effect snow storm. Sure was pretty though!

12 hours for me...alone as always. Nobody can stand me for that long at one stretch. It's not a bad trip unless it snows about a foot.
I was coming back a few years ago and they shut down the interstate because of the snow in Indiana.
