Debbie and I have a deal (her deal
). I can buy her a bow and she will shoot with me but I can't coach her. can't give her any tips. have to let her shoot her arrows in peace. she is 5'2". wanted a one piece bow light in the hand and easy to draw.
I got her a Black Mountain Sheepeater Spirit. She has been shooting for 5 yrs and does not have a good forum but she has a consistant (but bad form) form. she is a gapper from the get go and not a bad shot.
the bow fits her very well......just don't tell her to roll her elbow down, her wrist in, her shoulder out, and her drawing elbow in line with the string, and don't tell her to open her stance a few degrees and you will enjoy shooting with her.
after the first fews shots of the day she can do a pretty fair job of getting the arrow in or close to the kill zone. Bow is 28#@26" we have got some redline 1000s trimmed to tune. she is a lot of fun to shoot with but can get pretty competitive. She doesn't like to be out shot
I don't think Debbie will out shoot ya but she will keep ya on your toes
Debbie's "little snack and cake" black mountian sheepeater spirit. may not be exactly a 50's recurve but has a grip that some ladies like a lot better. the rest of the bow is right
