I was due west of there in the north part of Georgia's southern hunting zone. Was incredibly cold Sunday.
I was comfortable, but the problem is that the pigs and deer were too... in there beds!
All in all I spent 8 days out of 14 hunting from sun-up till about 3pm and never saw the hogs that were tilling up the ground, and never got within Black Widow distance of a deer. But I had a blast.
I had hoped I could get a ground blind in and the weather be hospitable for my now 6 year old to come along, but we ended up still hunting the whole time trying to find them as they were moving looking for those last acorns.
Congrats to the hunter, that was cold weather for sure.
I did see some stupid turkeys fighting in about 20deg weather, actually got some footage on my digital camera. Kinda funny to see them yard birds hammering each other as I was trying to not freeze.
