Hi guys.
I just wanted to introduse my self.
I am a Norwegian bowhunter, almoust 40yrs.
In Norway it is forbidden to go hunting with a bow so i have to go to Denmark or other countries to bowhunt. That is wery depressing! And i cant tell you how lucky you guys are to have the hunting oportunities that you have.
I am going to Colorado next year together with 3 friends on a Elk hunt.
I hope you can understand my English writing and that it is better than your Norwegian. LOL. LOL.

Hei Inge,

Velkommen!
Jeg er nederlender.. and that's how far my Norwegian goes. I have been a lot of times in Norway, beautiful country.
I'm probably the only guy from Holland who is on this forum.
As you may know that hunting with bow and arrow  is illegal in Holland also.
I get a lot of info from this board. You're on the right place here.

På gjensyn,
V-Archer

Inge, I hope your dreams and more are realized on your hunt. I can only imagine how it will be for you, who cannot pursue game at home, to walk with a bow as people on this continent have always walked. I hope you see and take your elk, and savor the meat that you earn. I hope that you find an ancient arrow point.

We are lucky to be born into a land that we can bowhunt. Let us not forget that it is a right that we fought hard for, as well.

And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Killdeer, thanks alot.
Yes i feel the same way, in Scandinavia we have long traditions of using the bow way back before the viking`s.
But even so it seems that we forget our roots and that the people that are making the laws are more afraid of what other interest may think, than to keep the traditions alive.
And respect us bowhunter just as we respect others.
But we are still hoping!!
It helps us that Denmark and Sweden areworking as hard as they do.
