one day I was on this post and I read a post, I think it was titled somthing like, who is this guy. anyway there was a link to u-tube and there was an old movie taken back in the early 40s of a guy riding on top of a car shooting a long bow at a target. How would I go about finding this post again. Kasper

that wasn't the clip I was talking about but I sure enjoyed it. I,m a archery history buff and any thing on the wilhelm brothers is bound to be interesting. They had to be the all time archery characters

That old film you are talking about was unnamed but the archer was Frank Garsky. Frank was amazing and even in his 90's was still pulling a 75lb bow. I watched him shoot tennis balls out of the air as launched them with a tennis ball machine. If frank was at a shoot back in the day Howard Hill would leave because he did not want to get beat!

Forgot to mention that if you search Youtube under "dangerous archery tricks" you will find that video.

I just saw that the other day he tied a string to the steering wheel and had a bunch of ladies with him.If you do you tube and search for how to make a longbow I think it will be in the side bar.

The fellow in the clip above with the babes and riding the car isn't Garsky. He may have been in other clips, but that isn't him.
