Tiller adj. on ILF

All this talk about ILF bows lately is sparking my interest in one. I have never had one so i have a simple question for ya. How do you adjust tiller on them? I think I know but wanna be sure.

Thats what I thought but how is it differant than my Dorado? Is it the dovetail that allows pivot or what. Sorry I have never had one in my hands or maybe I could tell.

The ilf limbs have a sort of rocker on the limb and the fitting allows some adjustment to change the angle it lays on the riser.Your Dorado limb bolt locks the limb down tight like a typical td does so changing tiller would have to be done with shims instead of just turning the bolts.

I would think that this type of limb set-up could be noisy. I must be wrong because I'm seeing(not literally) more of them being talked about and shot.
I am looking forward to the day I can handle one for myself, being an Ole Show-me guy.

Mudd my Morrison ILF recurve is the least noisy bow i own but it has carbon and foam limbs.

Not sure if that makes a difference but it is also very smooth out to my 30in draw.

One of my favorite things about my ILF is i can just pop the limbs out without turning a bolt.

Little things like that make me happy.    

Do yourself a favor and try one out, i think you will be glad you did.

My wife and I both shoot DAS bows and they are extremely quiet.  Quieter than any other bows I have shot since I started in the 50's.

The loudest bow I have shot was an ilf bow.The quietest recurve I have shot has been one as well.    It is all how well the bow is tuned and setup just like with any other bow.If done right there is no more noise problem with them as any other. jmo

They can be noisy if not tuned right.

That said, I just shot my longbow for the first time in a while the other day, it was a muffled thud at best.
