I hunted Iowa for the first time last year. Found this spot, set my stand and camera up and planned to hunt the next morning. I hunted the next morning and after the hunt check my camera to find this boy was there just a few hours after I left.....

Put out a couple of my cams on mineral licks last week. Ran them yesterday. With over a month of growing left to go, I believe I'm gonna have a couple that will make the "hit list" this fall. Got a couple more farms to set, but prob give them a couple weeks before I get to em.

It never pay’s to be first, after seeing the three little pigs I’ve been having panic attacks, my wife keeps asking why I keep looking behind me during the romantic times. What I am afraid of though is, those romantic time are so spread out anymore I may forget. I will have to write myself a reminder on my PDA so as not to forget. Thanks a lot metsastaja

I just put my cameras out last week...so I'm going out this week to take a look and then I will leave them longer...just want to make sure everything is working right and really do want to see if I got anything in the last week.

A real problem appears that the one in the middle looks to be a sow.

Went out to our property today to check on the blueberry crop (coming along fine...and early) and checked the trail cameras. All the usual suspects have been around and a new little buck that looks like he is going to be a palmated spike horn. Very cool looking little guy.
Here's a slightly better look at his headgear.
