I hunted Iowa for the first time last year.  Found this spot, set my stand and camera up and planned to hunt the next morning.  I hunted the next morning and after the hunt check my camera to find this boy was there just a few hours after I left.....

Put out a couple of my cams on mineral licks last week.  Ran them yesterday.  With over a month of growing left to go, I believe I'm gonna have a couple that will make the "hit list" this fall.  Got a couple more farms to set, but prob give them a couple weeks before I get to em.

It never pay’s to be first, after seeing the three little pigs I’ve been having panic attacks, my wife keeps asking why I keep looking behind me during the romantic times. What I am afraid of though is, those romantic time are so spread out anymore I may forget. I will have to write myself a reminder on my PDA so as not to forget. Thanks a lot metsastaja  :deadhorse:

I just put my cameras out last week...so I'm going out this week to take a look and then I will leave them longer...just want to make sure everything is working right and really do want to see if I got anything in the last week.

Went out to our property today to check on the blueberry crop (coming along fine...and early) and checked the trail cameras. All the usual suspects have been around and a new little buck that looks like he is going to be a palmated spike  horn. Very cool looking little guy.

Here's a slightly better look at his headgear.
