3Rivers 2010 CATALOG
« on: January 06, 2010, 01:55:00 PM »
I was curious if people are getting their 2010 Master Catalog from 3Rivers Archery. If so, I am looking for feedback as we did a lot of things different this year.

No sugar coating, I want the good and the bad. Only way for me to improve. Thanks Everyone!

Im looking at it as I type and I like the arrow charts, and the rest is good I see you have some new products.I think you should put the bows, quivers, and cases in the middle and arrows and the supplies in the front.people will open the catalog and see expensive bows and think the whole catalog is expensive.and if you give them pretty arrows to look at it sparks the interest in archery and whenever they grab the catalog they will see little things they need and it will add up to a big order.and each time you put out a new catalog have one of those Tomahawk girls as the centerfold that way we can take it out and have a poster.to hang up! and thats advertising!!

I like the idea of more moderately priced bows; it will help both your business, and people trying to get into traditional archery in an otherwise tough economy.

I also noticed some actual price reductions on a few things....I liked that.  I have a hard time understanding $120.00 a dozen for arrows, but you must remember I'm a product of the 1940's...baby boomer.    ;)

The format is nice and you can find what you want easily.  No complaints...something there for everyone....even us cheapskates.    :goldtooth:

The only thing I can add is I really like the shots of the older catalogs.

Congrats on the Anniversary.

Johnathan,

I liked the new layout of the magazine. I really liked the idea of you guys starting to carry some stuff for AD shafts. One question, would you all consider accepting PAYPAL in the future? I often keep funds in my paypal account and would like to use it on purchases. The several added charts were very helpful.
Very nice job Johnathan, to you and all the 3rivers staff.

And for the record, those Tomahawk ladies are not just a pretty face. I shot behind Teresa and Mrs. karch at Comptons and they are the real deal. They put the arrow where they are looking.    :scared:

I got mine. The spine charts and different charts for point weight and such are great. Already has me thinking of building extreme FOC carbons and woodies...

The wife just came in the door 10 minutes ago and droped it on the deck over my key board.  Nice cover.  I will have to open it up and take a look.

Got mine on Monday........ordered a new Dalaa on Tuesday.  I thought the prices were good and the shipping discount per the "keycode" was great.  I got my new Dalaa and a bunch of other stuff shipped for $5.95.

One suggestion would be to add a setup DVD with any new bow purchase.  I know there are how-to videos on your website but there's nothing like being able to set down in front of the tube and watch them while you make adjustments on your bow.  Or just rewatch them for the heck of it.

I would like to especially see a set-up DVD pertaining to the Dalaa and ILF configurations in general.  You could do an hour DVD on that alone.  And for some one like me who is just getting into ILF bows it is all new and a bit overwhelming.

Just a suggestion.

Mike
