Weekend Fun in Western New York

Well, the snow and 17 degrees didn't stop us. A few of us gathered at Double-T Archery in Amherst, NY to share a breakfast, and walk the trails.
Knee deep snow made the target outlines a touch strange, and sometimes you had to just shoot at the snow (Where the heck is that pig?). No arrows lost, lots of laughs, and sore legs.
Beats sitting inside...
What are you all doing?

Dress properly, and there is nothing like a clear winter day in NY. I haven't tried it while it was snowing, but it looks fun

Nice pictures Bob. We missed you today at TT. Charlie cooked a fine ham while we were out shooting. It's time to mention the "Cabin Fever Traditional Shoot" which runs Feb.27&28. We cook venison and archery all day long. It's a real friendly shoot and the excellent food is free to all shooters. Open to everyone who enjoys the winter in WNY. A huge bonfire all day into the night. I'm not sure what the cost is for the shoot, but we have 30 or more targets out there that you can shoot all day if you feel like it.

Hey Stone Knife. I believe our paths have crossed before. I camp just across the road from "Sensei" at the Hawkeye shoot. I'm the friendly looking guy in the pictures on this thread. Are you aware of the fine winter trad. shoot that Double T has?
