I have been looking also.  So far the info I have found points to them being a good feather at a good price.  I have found some real good prices, but I have not been able to find shield cut 4". Only shield 5" and parabolic in 4".

I have used some AMG feathers on the last couple of dozen arrows. They were very uniform in length, height and bright colors. And they were reasonably priced and good quality.I will buy them again.

3 rivers now carries 5" shield AMG. AMG are fine feathers, much better than Gateway IMHO, and almost as good as Trueflight, I think TF bases maybe a little more consistent. As said before excellent feather with bright colors!

Tru-flight---Very good!

AMG--Almost as good!

Gateway---poor (much thicker bases and not as uniform; harder to get consistent in my experience)

Funny - I have just used tru-flight and gateway (some odd nuber of found feathers from game birds) but me also would say gateway-poor. Need to give those AMGs a try.

anw0625,

Thanks, but Kustom King has Trueflights for $32.65 per 100. Given those two choices, I'd rather spend less money for better quality at Kustom King.

With most retailers charging $20 or so per 100 for AMG die cuts, someone should have full lengths for $25 or so. Do you know if anyone else sells them?

There was a vendor at Comptons last year called Sagittarius Archery that was selling nice full length feathers for $25 per hundred. I wonder if those were AMGs. I found their web site, but it doesn't mention who makes their feathers.

I agree with Avid Archer.

Bases could be a bit more consistent, but overall, a very decent feather for the money. I fletched up a dozen CE 150's and proceeded to beat the crap outta of them at the Muzzy. Then put two in a deer. One feather, just one lost about a half inch of quills. The rest are perfect.

Joe Skipp has some good deals on them.

He's a member here on TradGang, owner of Renegade Archery.
If you do a search for his name "joe skipp" you'll find him.
