You're a lucky guy if he's working on yours now. I just put mine on order and have 10+ weeks to wait. Make sure you post pics so I'll have eye-candy to hold me over.

Hunter's Niche (Ron Pittsley) Predator Bows offers black & white ebony in their custom recurve & longbow risers. They also used it in a special commemorative recurve that's just now out. Their ad for this bow is in latest issue of TBM.

Dan, don't worry brother I'll be posting lots of pics when Big Jim get's done with her. I have some special over/in lays being done on it also. I was gonna have cathedral grain/flat cut zebrawood but when I saw he had these dalmation boards I called him and changed. I tell ya waiting on this bow is like having a present under the Christmas tree in October and having to wait till Christmas day.

This black and white ebony is special. I have been trying to find more and it has been tough. They call this dalmation and I have been told that it only occurs in about 10% of the B&W ebony trees. Not confirmed info though. I do know that its scarce even here at big jims. I do have some beautiful stiped black and white too.

I remember someone sent a piece of that to Bob Morrison to have a bow made (JC maybe?) and it was taking a long time for it to dry properly. Different looking wood for sure. I'd like to see a bow made from it before I made my final opinion of it...Mike

Mike, I'll be posting some pics of my bow when it's done.
BigJim, if you ever find any more of that stuff I'll have to get in what I'm sure will be a VERY LONG line for a take down.
