Ever been to fat to Hunt?

I'm only 10# away from being too fat to hunt anymore. It finally hit me Sunday perched in my tree in 16 degree weather.Everything i got is tight. Had to hook my safety harness buckles up in Braille cus i ain't seen em!. By the time i got all my King of the Overprice on ,it shrunk my draw lenght 6 inches. How in the world have Biggie , Gene and Marty hunted all these years like this? I have got to lose some weight...anyone else?

You have to adjust son...buy the 4xl and 5xl instead of trying to pour yourself into a 2xl.
Get buddystands that are made for two hunters.
Get two belts, hook one into the other and you'll have plenty of extra holes.
You can go to an upolstery shop and have webbing added to your safety harness.
And finally, go to a 3/4 ton pick up.

Hang your stand further out in the woods and the walk in might help out some. Or do as Biggie says.

Committed to a Colorado Elk trip last year, which motivated me to lose the weight. Glad I did, covered alot of country and saw alot of animals.

Joebuck, do yourself a favor and try to loose the weight. You will be a better hunter and maybe stick around to hunt longer. I understand, I lost 40 lbs in 2009. Felt alot better hanging stands, climbing up in stands, and had a good year. I know it's hard but just give it a try.

I figure you are just evening out the score, as good a hunter as you are- you are giving the deer a chance.

A buddy, if I can call him that told me once he figured out my secret fer killin so many critters. What's that, I asked. He said when you get camoed up, and start throught the woods,it looks like the whole woods movin and confuses them long enough fer you to shoot them. I am there with you fellers, got to get a few pounds off this winter and spring!

Yes I come from a family that considers gravy a beverage and I used to try to go back for seconds at communion. But over the last two years I started walking and cutting back. I've lost 66 pounds and feel great.

Maybe we need a little competition. Goodness knows I need to loose 40+. Although if I read much more of this post I may not make it.
