Lonnie,
I didn't read every post so this might have been asked. What is the general turnaround time to do a bow?
I have a Bear magnesium take down I'm thinking of having you do. I think I'd like the handle done in Carbon Fiber and the limbs done in Leaf and Woods Mix. Is there an extra charge for two different prints? Would I have to do any prep work like sanding off old spray paint from the handle? I know I should take off the latches, window sight plate and side plate and grip, etc. Should I do anything else?

VA Bowbender, turn around is 1-2 weeks. Just take the stuff off and I'll take care of paint.
No extra charge for 2 different patterns, just be sure to put a note explaining how you want it with your bow.

Lonnie,  I'm gonna be sending another one your way.  My wife saw a carbon fiber looking bow at K-zoo and loved it so I'll give her an early Anniversary present.

Terry's bow looks great!  Hope mine turned out looking like that too!!  :)
Chasing my kids and my degree for now but come next fall the critters better look out.  ;)

Kenneth, your bow looks just like Terry's but I forgot to take pictures. Too late now, I shipped it out yesterday.

that's great!  I better call Jim today and let him know.  Can't wait to get her back!  I'll be sending out my wifes Ben Pearson "Varsity" today or tomorrow to get a carbon fiber dip.
thanks Lonnie!

Does the process have any effect on the original preformance of the bow, i.e. heavier draw weight??? And have you ever dipped a Black Swan with the metal riser? It really has a lot of "dimples" in it.  Thanks

Ok, here's some pics of the Bear magnesium riser and limbs I sent off to Lonnie.  I asked him to do the limbs in a burl and the handle in a carbon fiber. I did tell him if the burl wasn't one I cared for he could substitute for a camo pattern.

When the bow comes back I'll post the end result.

I got this bow used, I didn't do the damage. Someone made a really poor atempt at refinishing.

SkottyBoy, I've never seen any difference in performance. Even on A&H ACS limbs.
That dimpled surface you're talking about is just the paint. The metal underneath is smooth.

Lonnie I have a warf bow I'm finishing up on and when its ready can I send it or need to call and set up a time to get it to you first, how does this work basically? Nice looking work by the way.

Lonnie,  I mailed out my wifes bow yesterday.  It should be there today or tomorrow.  I wrote on it which end to open cause that's where the order specs and MO are.

thanks again,
Ken

VA Bowbender, Your bow got here today. WOW, that bow is pretty bad but I like a challenge! The paint on that riser is not only peeling off but the metal has corrosion.
Nothing I can't handle though, stay tuned for further updates.

Kenneth, not here yet. Probably friday.
