East Texas Trad Gang Deer Lease
«

Just wanted to throw this out there for those that live in the East Texas area.
Is anyone interested in looking for property to hunt this deer season for Trag only deer lease.
I live in Nacogdoches and I am interested in leasing property somewhere to hunt. Anyone interested in getting a group together from this forum to get a lease together. I think it would be cool to have a trad only lease. I was on a lease one time with all trad hunters and it was a blast.
Any interest?
Jeff

Probably not this year for me, but next year might be a possibility, cost and location would be the deciding factor.

Was thinking about the same thing. Texas is a big place and location will be key to making it convenient. Central location might allow the most participation. Keep me posted and in mind....very interested.

Yep Temple leased land to the Gov to the type 2 managment areas in San Augustine and surrounding counties. My lease is 3000 acres. I can't remeber whitch county but my game warden friend told me about an area that was 45000 somewhere around Jasper I believe; that was leased out. About all Temple kept was Boggy Slough and Scrappin Valley.
