blind suggestions??

I shoot a 66" Robertson LB.  This year I will be taking my 5 year old son with me when I turkey hunt, so i will need a blind.  If any of yall hunt with your kids you know a few bunched up limbs can't cover up a kiddo's movement.  I need a blind that will accomidate a 66" bow.
Any suggestions will be appriciated, and thanks in advance!

I use a Primos Escape Deluxe model.  It sets up quick and has held up for 2 years of turkey and deer seasons.

the primos vision is what i use . very good quality, lots of room. and they have a great bag for carryin, has a spot for your chair aND GOOD STRAPS on the backpack

I have seen a lot of the new blinds, but would not trade my Double Bull (recurve model) for any of them.  The cost is higher, but the quality is there.

I hunt from ground blinds alot and run into the problem of my longbows hitting the top of the blind when I try and shoot.  Or can not get to possition in the shooting window with out the top limb on the ceilling.  I do not know about the "Recurve" modle (it was not on the web site.  The other 2 only have a 70" ceiling and that makes things tuff with a 66" longbow and imposible for my 68" bows.  The only Manufacured blind I have found to work well with my longer bows (note I have not tried them all) is the Ameristep Penthouse.  I have had mine for almost 8 years now.  Yes I have had to replace the roof poles (my falt of trying to fold it up with them still attached) and I've repaird some ripps with black ducktape (on the inside).  Not I have to brush it in a little more comes off redish in color after a few years (unless they've changed) But I have shot a lot of Deer, Turkeys, and hogs from it!

I Have also gone to Makeing my own fence blinds.  You can buy cheep fencing (4 - 5 feet high)I think I paid $35 for a 100ft roll.  I wrap it to the size of the blind I need and then weave weeds, braches, limb through and around it.  I use wire cutters to creat shooting windows where I want them.  I then place a camo tarp over the top peak style /\\. This gives me lots of room for my bows and I can purchace the replacment shoot through mesh (cheeper) to place over shooting windows if you like.  I set up like this alot on state land so if someone does decide they need it more than I, then I'm only out about $25 instead of a couple hundred.  I have even puchaced some $5 black sheets from a dollar store to line the inside.  This has given me more ground blind options with out spending alot of $ and allows me to shoot the bow I want because I decide the height of the ceilling

Double Bull recurve model is the way to go. Used it last year with a 66" recurve. Had myself at 6'2", and my brother at 6'5" in it as well, and had no problem drawing and dropping a nice gobbler at 15yards.  Though it is a bit of a chunk of change.

Might want to take a look at the Yukon Tracks enforcer blind.  I think that is the correct name tall and roomy.  Not to hard on the pocketbook either.  I have only had mine about one year so not to much histroy with it.  But so far so good.

Second for the Yukon Enforcer elite, 5-hubs for easy set-up, 90" hub to hub, 70" corner to corner, 80" height, about 18#s, windows are shaped a bit odd, but worked well, I'm 6'1" about 230#, hunting partner is 6'3" about 280, we had a ton of room to shoot and move around a bit. Todd

The Ameristep Penthouse is 90" tall and I have no problem with my long bow. I am 5' 7" and shoot a 60" bow hybrid with no problem standing or on my knees.

They are inexpensive compared to other blinds as well. I think I paid $159.00 for mine. They set up and break down fast.

Just before Christmas Cabela's had their primos predator den on sale ($20 off). They also offered either free shipping on orders >$100 OR $20 off any item over that amount.

I bought one and had a total of $133 with tax and shipping in it. I can shoot my 60" zipper out of it with ease. It is 70" inside height. I like the predator camo too. This blind is regularly $149.95.

Doublebull blinds is the only way to go. Some of the others cheap out on certain areas that are way to crucial to the hunt. I learned the hard way by trying not to spend more money and it ended up costing me. Live and learn!
