? for homebrew camera guys
« on: January 18, 2010, 03:43:00 PM »
I have an older Penns Woods trail camera that doesn't work.  That's essentially the extent of my electronic/digital diagnostic talent, but I do know that the camera itself (Sony DSC P32) functions out of the box (flashes, takes photos, stores them on memory stick, etc.).  The board has two leds (one green, one red) that illuminate when the switch is turned on.  But, bottom line, the camera doesn't fire when in the box.

I figure I could send it back to Penn's Woods, but due to the other thread re: home brews I was wondering if I could just get another board and fix it myself.  Ideas?
