That's simply awesome Curt!  I've had my girls out from time to time, but they never venture much further than the backyard range, and they are definitely "fair weather shooters."  ;)

My 11 year old shoots with the same hand you do, and actually hits what she aims at for the most part... My 8 year old really just likes to see the arrow fly, and sprays her arrows all around the backyard... can't blame her for that though!

Children are our future, I believe it was said, take a child hunting and you won't be hunting for your child.  And you have obviously lit the fire in your young man, which will pay you back 10 fold over the years to come.  Hope to share camp with you and Cade in the years to come!

Thanks for sharin' the moment!

They sure grow up fast - my son just headed back to college yesterday - will see him again in March and then again in May before he starts his summer job - truckin' and drivin' combine in Montana....

Your pics set a goal for my son and I.  I can't wait to take him stumping.  He just got his first bow and arrow set for Christmas.  At 3 years old, he is more interested in seeing me shoot his bow and pulling arrows out of the target.  His set needs weaker arrows than the carbons that came with the bow.  I hope some dowelling will work.  I'm sure he will be shooting it soon.
