I feel what your saying, just the thought of sharing a camp. With other tradganger trad shooters is almost more than a sole can take. Even if we don't harvest a deer, we are gunna have a bunch of fun!    With some big old  :campfire: 's and some great time together! I think this just may grow into something awhole lot bigger than 23. Then again it will be there loss on a great weekend. For those that don't mark there calender and show up!
And I am more than willing to share my campfire to cook over!

For everyone, rumor has it that our licence fees will increase shortly! HIGHLY Fees at this time are the same as last year. You may want to buy yours ASAP, as it soulds like if they do the increase it will be at once. THATS NOT FAIR, BUT I WOULD NOT CHANCE IT. If your going to buy them anyway. At this time, you guys that live here should know your fees.
Non Resident small game is 3-day $30.00
Non Resident Archery Deer is $138.00 good for either sex
Non Resident Combo Deer $276.00  2 tags good for 2 bucks one with antler restrictions 4 point or better one side or one of each sex with archery.
For license info go to  WWW.michigan.gov/dnr  hopefully the moderators will accept this off website.

Also BEAR APPLICATITIONS are going on now!

           Bought my tags today!

Atlanta is the closest town. It's tiny! I have a camp spot in mind but we could also meet up at the local grocery and go from there.
Just one more step please!

All right, I'm trying to look up the area now, but I can't find it. Is there an Atlanta SGA, or is this just the Pigeon River State forrest? If so where abouts are we looking to do this? I'm just trying to look up topo maps on terraserver and can't get a good map without a good idea of where it is.

Thanks, Photog

Take 32 east off 75 to where 33 runs north. Atlanta is a town where 33 and 32 meet. There is a ton of state forest north of that town and you can camp on it. I've been up there a couple times in the last 4 years and it's a big place. The roads/orv trails that we are going to drive in on are off 33 north.
Just one more step please!

I didn't vote because I don't know if I will be able to make it, but I got my choice just the same!

Arwin, Jason & Rob and any one else as far as that goes, maybe we could head up that way about mushroom time and take our fishing gear and scout the area out? What sayest you?

Guys,
It sounds like a great trip, and it may work for me, I have to check my football schedule.  I coach my sons team and assume we will have a game on saturday.  I'll keep an eye on this thread and see what happens.
