My wife and I are staying there two nights.  When I booked they were offering drastically reduced rates for PBS attendees.

Wouldn't want to stay anywhere but where the banquet is being held.

Here's my two cents worth of advice for staying where the banquet is held.  If you or your wife aren't feeling well, and need to lay down for just a bit, it's a lot nicer to go upstairs and take a nap, rather than head to the parking lot, get your vehicle and drive to your motel.  Wives appreciate that.

We made reservations almost a week ago and were not able to get the $100 rate, those rooms were gone, however got one for $109.

Yes there are special rates.  Make sure you tell them you are there for the PBS banquet in order to get the special rate.  Don't wait too long; the hotel will be full of PBS members.

I'll be there for the first time, can't wait.  Reserved my room two weeks ago.  Feel like I'm going to the oscars of traditional bowhunting.   :clapper:

I will be there but will try to keep a low profile so the twins don't call me up on stage for who knows what.
