A Knife for Dave N./TX
«
on:
January 07, 2007, 10:51:00 AM »
Dave sent me a large box of wood scraps from his bowmaking business to use as knife handles and I made him this knife as a "thank you"
4" 1095 high carbon blade (clay coated and etched to show the hamon), hidden tang, brass guard, mosaic pin, cocobolo and black diamondwood handle. The pic below shows the dovetailing I did for the handle
This pic shows the temper line really well
Here are some others I did in the last month:
Evan\\'s Knife
HOAL Knife
Larry\\'s Knife
Ben\\'s Knife

Thanks guys!
Ken, you're coming to Shawn's in Feb, right? I'll have a knife for the St Jude raffle, so don't forget to get some tickets!
It'll be good to finally hunt with you!
Hi David (both of you!)
