From reading posts on here, I've noticed there is a lot of Vets that frequent this site.
I'm retired Navy. 22 yrs (Hull Tech. The sailors will know what that is)
Veteran of Desert Storm and the Iraq War. Stationed mostly in Norfolk Va and a little stint in south east Georgia.
I did't get to bowhunt much while I was in, spent a lot of time deployed and at sea. Feels great to have some time to get out in the woods finally.
Give a post of who and where you served our great country. Thanks in advance of your service and sacrifice.

Washington Army National Guard 1997 - 2005
A Co, 181st Brigade, WARNG, Actived to Regular Army, 14th Combat Engineers, 555th Engineer Group, Fort Lewis, Wa. Served 18 months as an Army combat engineer, 12 months in Iraq 2003 / 2004 with the 3rd ACR. We were light engineers ( wheeled ) attached to an armored battalion. Spent the war shooting it out and blowing things up while running around in light skinned aluminium dump trucks. We were the fastest and quietest company in the battalion. Guess who got all the QRF missions and raids.
It was a lot of fun and a lot of bad times all rolled into one wild ride. We had a 3 month train up and demob. on either end of the tour in the sand box. I got out at the end of my 8 year contract.

Eielson AFB AK, Shaw AFB SC, Shemya AFS AK, Altus AFB OK and Little Rock AFB AR.
Supply 13 years, Medical 3 years, Ground Safety last 4 years.
When I retired a video covering my 20 years was presented to me. My Father is the paratrooper in the beginning. I continued a family tradition albeit in a different branch Dad never held it against me. My own son is now serving in the AF. I’m so proud of him for his commitment.
If you would care to see the video just select the link below.
