U.S. Marine Corps. First Mediterranean float I went to England, Spain, France, Italy, Turkey, Greece, Israel, and Mombasa Kenya. My second Med float we got dropped off in sunny Beirut Lebanon for 4 months of R&R. My third float was a NATO, I got to see Norway, Denmark, and Amsterdam Holland. My MOS was communications, I was attached to an artillery battery for 4 years, then a wing squadron for my last three years. In the middle there somewhere I did a year and a half teaching at a comm school. I don't regret a day of my service. I'll admit a few times I said to myself "what the hell am I doing here".

USMC 1970-1996 RVN, DSDS and other interesting points between that we do not talk about in public. I love this nation-and having been to many others, like the rest of you, know why. I think we are free for what our forefathers did for us and the rest of the world. I hope we have a government that understands the sacrifices and pains the women and men endure-and use their talents wisely and with purpose.

USMC Grunt!!! 87-91 1st Battalion 6th Marines Bravo Co.OOOOORAH! Too many countries to type. Desert Shield and Desert Storm was my last hoorah. My avatar is me placing the American flag on a birm on the Highway of Death. Death being the Iraqs. One of the most memorable days of my life.
