Take some 125 gr. field pts. or blunts and cut with hacksaw down the middle, best you can do to eyeball and use some scrap banding or heck even an ole hacksaw blade. Cut some triangle pieces and epoxy or superglue , in the slots. Then take a file to the leading edge!
As for the coons and possums, broadheads are the better choice!
This time of year, early in the morning, I love to look for the coons on the ground! It's the breeding period, and you can catch them heading back to the dens, or more.
Also for you Hoosiers, rabbit season was extended to the 15th of Feb. I'm not sure why, in my part of the state, they are pretty much non existent, do to Hawks,yotes, feral cats and loss of habitat.
