Thanks John for chiming in here. I only got a bit of info From Larry and was trying to share it. I asked ppl to call him directly too.
Larry had told me that some intense testing was happening but didn't tell me it was a completely new ANIMAL...NOW I AM EVEN MORE EXCITED.
I get into some pretty tight places here and have to kneel and sneek on my hands and knees so that's why I wanted the short bow.
thanks again

Thanks for clearing that up John. Sounds like this is going to be a great addition to an already awesome line up of bows.

Vertically laminated actionwood is about as strong as you can get. I can't ever see an issue with that.

John thanks for all the research and testing you've done. Your line of bows has forced the "old-line" to rethink that traditional archery CAN be improved. I know my shooting is leaps and bounds better with lighter poundage- better performance bows. More bowyers are looking at material and design improvements and that has made shooting more enjoyable for many. Good luck with your new bow, and thanks again.

I told myself I didn't need one of these ACS bows, but this short riser may make me rethink that.......

John,
Is the 12" riser going to have the same type of grip available as the 16" RC riser? Looks similar to me in the pics.
Thanks,
Mark

Mark,
The basic 12" grip will be similar to the 16" RC riser, but not quite as high. It has a noticeable thumb rest and is available with or without finger grooves. A lower grip similar to our ST risers can also be had.

Well now the wait begins - I have NO BOWS NOW - sold them to get this one - I have some safari's fletched up and some bare shafts for testing and tuning.
My challenge for Larry Hanify was to get a 750 grain arrow to fly out of her at about 180-185 fps and be under 60# @ 28"

Well the arrows are ready for testing - just need the bow now.
Unbeleivable weight to these Safari though...Full length @ 1000 grains with the 315 tip that will match the Ashby's....hmmm
No tip added - 684 grains
Well I am excited anyway

Sweet lines on that bow for sure. Ley's see it when it arrives. Looking forward to hearing how (amazingly) it shoots.

They figure a month - they just finished the testing on the 12" riser adn the 60 and 62" limbs.
now they are full bore on the 56 adn 58" limbs.
Can't wait - so much for a 750 grain arrow though...well we'll see what she does i guess.

I absolutely love my RC, and was just thinking asking A&H if they would consider making a shorter version. Boy O boy.....

Hey allan glad to hear your enjoying her..shes a great bow and I will no doubt regret selling her someday.
I can't shoot right now - screwed my shooting fingers which inturn stretch my tendons in my elbow so I am outta commision for about 6 weeks.
Anway keep us posted...I sent Rons string with her ok...that's the one he has on his bow..so I would stick with it.
Have any questions I would just contact Ron.

Hey Jer, shot the prototype today at K-Zoo. The first group was high and right. The scond group was tight and slightly right of center. Quick and very smooth. Would love to shoot again when it is finalized with proper spined and weight arrows. Maybe at Compton's. You have a great bow coming your way!
