New proof due in the mail today.  If it's what I want I'll post it when I get back from the Pig Gig.

While on the recent Pig Gig hunt #2, Iowa PBSer Doug Clayton walked up and handed me a really nice Badlands Pack for a banquet donation.  Thanks, Doug!  We will put it to good use!

Got the corrected print back and it turned out great.  Now I'm off to see about getting it matted and framed . . . will post a photo when it's "Banquet Ready".

My wife Donnie and I will be donating an "Alaskan Vacation".  We will share our rural home on the Kenai Peninsula, bed and breakfast style.

The time period and duration is negotiable. We have two kayaks, an inflatable canoe, two motorized Mokai kayaks available.  I can set up bear baits if desired, help arrange charter fishing trips or other site-seeing trips, other fishing available is the Russian and Kenai Rivers which are close by.  What do YOU want to do in Alaska?

Some meals included too and my Samurai wife is an awesome cook.  I guarantee I am the only guy in Alaska that has his personal Samurai to cook for him most every night, lol!

Also opportunities for black bear hunting in alpine, spot and stalk, split trips so you can venture to other parts of Alaska, etc.

Here are a few pictures of my Shawn Peterson tribute bow for the banquet. Like Shawn was always doing I had to think of something nobody else had done so I came up with a set of limb bolt washers to go with the bow.

Well, I got a chance to fondle the bow that has been donated by St. Joe River bows.  All I can saw is...outstanding!  Really sleek lines and the color combination looks even better in person.  Nice to meet David as well. Great job guys and thank you!

After working overtime with my printing service to assure top quality, I finally have a photo of the actual framed limited edition print that will be donated for auction at the Nashville PBS Gathering.  The original image was used on the Feb/Mar. issue of Traditional Bowhunter Magazine.  A copy of TBM is included in the attached photo so you can see how large the final print is.  The PBS print is signed and numbered #1 of 500.  The image is printed on heavy 100% acid free Sterling Rag cotton paper using pigmented archival inks.  The matting is also 100% cotton archival.  Finally, the solid hardwood frame is stained mahogany.  The end result is a museum quality piece for the hunter's den or office.

Awesome donation, Gary!
I was handed another one at our recently concluded UBI (United Bowhunters of Illinois) banquet.  Larry Jones, from Illinois, has donated a necklace for the Ladies' Luncheon.  It is a "miner's dollar" necklace.  Really unique! Thanks, Larry!

Just so you all know, in addition to the already astounding array of donated items, we can always use some smaller things for the general raffle.  This can include but are not limited to: tabs, arrows, broadheads, small prints, nocks, knives, armguards, t-shirts, books, DVD's, etc.  Anything you feel someone else might like to win.  And the funds raised from everything go to support PBS programs and projects.

Bryan just finished the youth back quiver he was making. Kevin, do you know of any hunts up for auction?

I made a small neck knife for the PBS gathering. It measures overall slightly over 5 inches and has a 2 and 1/4 inch cutting edge. It is made from damascus steel and has elk antler slabs for the handle.
