I'm all in!
« on: January 22, 2010, 01:39:00 PM »
Stopped by the local archery shop today and traded my training wheels for a PSE Black Hawk recurve.  Sent about 15-20 arrows through it since I got it home and so far I'm loving it.

Sweet!!!! You will be addicted and start shooting at weird things like dandelions, stumps and clumps of grass because there is no fear of arrows traveling 1/2 mile and out of sight.  All the money you would spend on do-hickies for the wheels will go to better things. Sorry......there is no cure.    :jumper:

Congrats!

I'm almost a month in now, with my 15 year old jumping in now with his brother and I.

I shipped my "wheels" off to PA yesterday and my 17 year old's bow is now for sale as well - lol.

I've made mistakes in my life but picking up the recurve was not one of them. Good choice! Jason
