Papa Bear’s T/D bow model?
«

Received the Complete Fred Bear DVD Collection for Christmas and was recently watching his narration of the history of archery (great piece) recorded in 1986 and he stated he had been shooting the same 65# T/D bow since 1965 and I hear you guys talking about the different takedown models manufactured by Bear Archery through the years, and was wondering what model was Fred’s personal takedown bow from 1965 - 86?
Thanx

Noticed the same, wondered if he had not misspoken. Or maybe had used a "proto type" for a number of years before releasing on the market.

Fred used his Custom Kodiak TD recurve bow. He did indeed have some prototypes that you come across in pics from time to time. It took time in development for the latch system and then to finally get it to market.
The Fred Bear DVD collection is tremondous and is a true treasure trove of info and history.
