Juniper veneers are really outstanding and Dick has friends that find that rare woods in his mountains.

Steve, your main problem is that you shoot from the wrong side so you can put your hungry hands on my bow arsenal.LOL

Bowwild,
It looks like you're more than test driving that gorgeous Robertson.
Once you quiver it up, it's all over. You won't be sending it back.
I've made the "mistake" of test driving 3 of Dick's bows. None went back.

cacciatore, the feather is a antler carving that i glued on. being that is a falcon model i thought the feather would go well with it.
this model goes back a few years. i bought it from a guy who had it as decoration in his NYC office. the bow doesn't even have a serial number on it.

Elkchaser! Shhhh!
I'm afraid "test-drives" for me are really just slang for, "Yippee"!

the Montana Falcon was made in 92-93,then in 94 was introduced the Vision Falcon, your probably isn't ff capable, but one of the best Robertson ever made, very quiet too.No one of mine have a serial number.

Joe vt, It looks like a Prarie Falcon, so late 80s early 90s maybe? A very nice example too.

yup. Like I said late 80s early 90s. When was the break between the Prarie Falcon and the Perigrine falcon design? Seems like it was mid 80s? Do not put FF on that bow, Joevt. B50 only. I know: I still owe pics.

Awesome thread! But...it's threads like these that can sometimes lead to "marital disruption"! Thought I was set with my current shooters! But after this "picture show" I am itchin' to get a (Robertson) hopefully in the near future!

Time to bump this thread. Finally had the time and a nice enough day to take the Fatal Styk outside.
This bow is just amazing. I'm humbled by its beauty, smoothness and accuracy.
