Your favorite grip?
« on: January 24, 2010, 11:24:00 AM »
I have just enough bows (8) under my belt to notice the grips are different, even the same model from year to year. So what bow has your favorite grip? Is it a low, medium or high grip? The one I have that feels best is a 1999 Black Widow TFIII and I don’t know if it is a medium, high or low.

+1 on the Shrew and I also like Dave Dwyer's grip on his bows.

Terry Green made this comment recently in another topic about a BW and I'm 100% in agreement:

"And, the grip is not so close to the shelf that if you wear a heavy glove in the cold, the glove wont rise up into the arrow shaft. Some grips are so close to the shelf on some bows I can't shoot them in the dead of winter as the glove I wears humps up and contacts the arrow."

Well, that Shrew grip is really nice.  I also really like the grip on my Quinn Stallion.  I have a BW PTF odered with the Asbell grip.  I hope I like it!

The Dale Dye grip fits me perfectly......amazing that he builds each grip to fit the individual that the bow is built for.....must be a lot of folks with similar sized hands....every one I've ever shot suited me.
