Southdakota mule deer 2009

I shot this doe mid november 2009. Just found the camera they were on. Shot her at 20 yards.I had a blast out there.

Congratulations James!!! It kind of looks like you may have been in the Black Hills but then again there are other places in SD that look similar. So fill us in ... where did you hunt? Did you do it diy, did you know someone or did you use an outfitter.
To me, the ultimate challenge in bowhunting is not how far away you can succesfully make a killing shot but rather how close you can get to the animal before shooting.

Nice deer Jim. I bet that was a fun hunt with Doug. Did you guys hunt anything else while you were there?

Yea it was doug s. It was the blackhills we had a blast. Me and doug were hunting private land. He was alowed to shoot a 4x4 or bigger and i could shoot any does, or any whitetail. I saw 4 4x4 and he dident see any. There was a 145-150 4x4 on this does but. I couldent shoot him so i shot the doe. Had a great time hope to go back in the next couple of years. Dan i will let him know you said hello.
