Did I marry the right girl??
« on: January 25, 2010, 06:09:00 PM »
My wife swore, before we were married, that she would never shoot a bow and that was ok with me. She came to a couple of Heritage Classic Jamborees and at the second one we bought her a second hand recurve. She loves shooting in the back yard and stumpshooting. She even shoots when I'm not around! I talked her into going snowshoeing on the weekend and 1/2 mile into the trek she was talking about buying her own snowshoes and maybe next time bringing a tent. She absolutely loved it. That's my kind of date! Did I luck out or what?

I'll post some pix of what we saw when we were out.

Congratulations!   My wife has just starting shooting.  She says she has no interest in hunting, just targets and stump shooting, which is fine by me since I enjoy any type of archery.   We'll be looking for the pics.

My bride, of 29 yrs., loved shooting forever.  I'm working on getting her to give up the wheellie.  She's got a kit longbow and enjoys shooting.
Have fun!

These were 2 of 3 juvenile Lynx kittens that we saw with their mother. I had some better pix of the Lynx but I haven't installed the program to support the format I took the pix in. I will post those pix when i can
