Look what I found

Was out scouting, stumping, and shooting tree rats the other day when I hit a pretty good trail coming out of a thicket off the river.

Started up the trail to see where it lead and started coming across old scrapes and rubs. This went on for about a 1/2 mile until I ended up behind a pine thicket that boarders a feeder field.

From there the trails branched off in about 6 different directions. I took the one that head down towards a big draw when I happened upon these.

I have seen big rubs like this, except more tore up, in Kansas and New York but this is the largest tree I have seen one on around here.

it looks like all of the slivers are pointing down. Like something only scraped it down. like a cat.

Thems Georgia Hog markins. They rubs there tuskers up n down a tree to sharpens em up. Put out sum hog n heat lure an sit up in a tree.
