DIY Hog Hunting?
« on: January 27, 2010, 11:34:00 AM »
Anyone have some suggestions on places/areas that would be good for a DIY hog hunt on public land? I live in MN and would be willing to drive just about anywhere but cost is a real issue for me right now, that is why i first thought about a DIY hunt. Any thoughts? thanks, Dan.

Dan I've looked into Geogia and I know there is a group of guys down there that get together every year and hunt hogs with good results.  I lost my computer and all my contacts for one of the gentleman who had even invited me down. I just couldn't make it at the time. I too would like to hear from him again to just have a contact.  Maybe they will chime in.  It may have been something like Chris Ward.

I'm keeping a close eye on this one as well.  I'll be moving to NC soon and it will put me a lot closer to some hog hunting.
Chasing my kids and my degree for now but come next fall the critters better look out.  ;)
