UPDATE !!!!!!!

Tommorow ...WE will mount Obsidian head.

This arrow will be Semi-primitive as I will use glue on head and artifical sinew. For most of you its a better way to start off making a primitive arrow. I will in future go through 100% primitive way ...but for this build along we will do it this way !

...sorry Guy's I have been without "electric...phone or net. " since Friday evening !!! SUCKS !  Just got everything back today...Brrrrrr !!!!!  :(

I live in AR and have 9" of snow in my front yard.  I know what you mean about the crazy weather.  I can't wait to get to the final parts of the primitave arrow, that is where I have trouble.

Looking good so far.  Do you think Salt Cedar shoots would work for this project?  They are about the same color as what you are using.  Looking forward to seeing the finished product.  Thanks for starting  this post.  good remedy for "cabin fever".

Shawn ..I'll look it up ! Head to the lowland/swamps. Look for any solid shoot that is straight. Try them after dried. You just might find the right shaft of your area...Jeff
