Small game head home made
«
on:
January 27, 2010, 02:08:00 PM »
Well I'm stuck home with 2 sick kids and I was bored so I tried to make a small game head and this is it.
It was pretty easy xx75 arrow took the insert and screwed a a same thread bolt through the back and screwed on a sheet rock wall hanger and them glue the insert back in.
It shoots great and weighs 194 gr.
Give me your opinions please

Can i still hang a picture with it
Sorry but I couldn't resist - looks awesome....now if you are using left wing fletch and it hit the screws will make it reverse and go right hand thread...hmm
it will lose arrow speed..BUT it's going to rip like nothing I have seen before....need pics of something you hit with it ok
Cool invention...you see TIME is the MOTHER of ALL INVENTIONS...WE NEED MORE TIME - TO get more time we need MORE MONEY.

Jerry,
The tip is designed with tight threads that when you screw it together it is not gonna come out from the rotation.

I'd add some wire legs at the back of the head kinda like a judo. Looks awesome though and would really put a hurtin' on rabbit!

I have to say, that is one ingenious idea! I have used those things alot, but never thought of using one for a small game head, I like it, and it seems like it would really to a number on a critter!

I shoot a 70# Hill and it was about an inch high at 15 yrds. I shoot 160 gr. Hill broad heads so I will have to find a heavier bolt the one I used was aluminum.

I realize - but all things cost money - You want to search for things that make money and stay done....build something that you can make a few cents on and sell MILLIONS of them...McDonalds made pennies on their hamburgers.
How many sold now.
Sell the idea then - find some investors..i dunno
just talking out loud.

I'm not saying you have to do anything don't get me wrong...we all get opportunities in our lives its the ones that take advantage of them that succeed.
Now a wise person told me once that it takes 10 businesses to get one that pays off generally...so this means you need to fail 9 times learning from each experience to get one to work.
He told me to FAIL QUICKLY - but learn with each...I have found one now that is great.
good luck bud - you have a ready made market here.

Wolfie2nd I live outside of Atlantic City.woodchucker i use left wing but when they screw on the bolt they wont unscrew without pliers and a screwdriver.so rotation won't be a factor.

If it's threaded opposite of the wing of your feathers the arrow won't fly
