Hmmm.....interesting post Curt, thanks for sharing. I'll get my son to help me do this, he'll love the opportunity to make a big mess for me to clean up!

joebuck, get a three blade sharpener that will give you relatively the same angle as a two blade, and you WILL leave them two blades like an old girlfriend who just informed you she was two months late.
So don't wait until you retire to go hunting and fishing.  Don't even wait for your annual vacation.  Go at every opportunity.  Things that appear urgent at the moment may, in the long run, turn out to be far less so.

I'm so happy it's legal in Denmark. We may have the highest taxes and some of the most expensive public transports, but we can bowhunt!!!

2 blades, 3, 4, 8, cut on contact, replacable, if it's sharp and penetrates the vitals, the critter dies...

Threads do get really interesting during off season. I know I've got cabin fever and it early still! Yikes! There's no telling what I might come up with. At least this one was interesting and a fun read.

About the best I think I'd be able to come up with is my battles with myself over new bow(MOAB)...lol

It's a long time before the next season so keep on thinking guys!
God bless,Mudd

Good read guru Im a 3 blade fan my self. Ive been shooting WW's and Snuffers for the last couple years. Mostly WW's only cause Ive got them made up in a bunch of different wts. But since changing no problem with blood trails. and I think Ive always gotten 2 holes, on hogs and deer. Of course I havnt killed many of either, so doesnt prove a whole lot in my case.

"In Norway bowhunting is illegal, even on Zip Locks..."

Heck M&M's are illegal in Norway too!

As far as two blades and three or four blades I like to use two blade phantoms on boar hogs over 100lbs because ofthe shield but for everything else I like to use the 4 blade phantoms or woodsmans.

Great idea! You can really see the difference between different BH's. I used red food coloring to make it more realistic. Does anyone have any sugestions on how to remove the red stain from my camo and also the shower?

I get My Snuffers barber shop Razor Sharp.. I can shave My face with them.. Just like 2-blades You have to take your time and do it right to get them Razor Shaving Sharp..

I also did that test (outside) in & out with a 2-blade, then just in one side with a Snuffer.. Same thing as what Guru said. Snuffer deflated the bag faster. The funee thing was, My wheelie bow hunter neighbor saw me do this and Now he said He will get some 3-blades to try out next deer season.

Told Him to get them and try them on hogs.. Now if I can get him to start shooting a trad Bow, My neighborhood would be way better...

It's cold in New York!  It's cold in Pennsylvania as well, but I haven't yet got into scientific experiments in the kitchen....yet *^).  Now here is what I learned in grade school:  A larger projectile, will let a larger hole, in what ever target it hits, under similar conditions.  There you go.....my "TA-DA" moment. *^).

And I want to see Mysticguido shaving with a Snuffer.  Not that I think you can't get it sharp enough.....I want to see the process.  Keep the bandaids handy.
