Wissler,

That's a beautiful animal. It always makes me laugh when I hear people say that there are no big bulls in Newfoundland.

I really want to hunt them someday too.  Either with Eldron, or in B.C.

Very nice guys. Keep'em coming. Can't wait till OCT. Hope to get one close enough to get pics like those. BTW, we're going to Newfoundland too. Been there twice, got a nine point with the gun, within bow range of course, on my second trip. Hoping for a nice bull, but I will take a cow if no bulls around.
Dang, I want some big paddles like those.

This is a pic of my buddy Yves' 2009 Alberta moose. He is Bloubow here on Tradgang. Moose are an absolute blast to hunt but they can be absolutely frustrating too.

It's hard to believe that no moose existed in Newfoundland before some were planted there. I think now they have one of the highest moose densities.

Here is a Saskatchewan Moose going for an Ontario Moose this fall: this moose fell to a 69LB longbow 2216 arrows and a 4 blade eskimo called in and shot at 11 yards.

These moose are huge!!  One day I want to hunt a moose and an elk!  Not at the same time of course.  I just can't get over how big the moose are, I might even be able to hit one from 10 yds!!!   :goldtooth:
