Lots of great pics here, guys. Thanks for sharing.

Hope to hunt moose someday myself. Here in Washington moose is a once in a lifetime tag, if you're lucky enough to actually draw one. Thus far all I have to show for my efforts are a bunch of points. But someday perhaps the tag gods will smile upon me...or so I hope.

Man this thread is giving me the itch again!  Went on an alaskan moose hunt back in 06 had a legal moose standing 20 yards from me ten minutes into the first days hunt!  My guide tells me we can do better...yeah right "should have shot that bull" that's been my motto ever since that day.  Never seen another legal moose for five days...ouch that hurts!  But o well that's the way it goes.  Congrats to all the lucky ones!

Should be about time to apply for my 20th time for a permit here in Maine.  I can't wait to draw.  The pictures have given me the itch again.  Great moose all thanks to all who shared.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Bumped back up. There's got to be some more pics to add.

Had a talk with one of the guys I'll be going on the trip with. He says, "Leave the indian bow at home, it won't have the kinetic energy to pass through a moose at 40 yards".
1) I plan on being alot closer.
2) I disagree with him.

Will I get both lungs at 40 yards? I won't be shooting that far anyway (I hope), even if I did bring the c-bow.

Yukon bull. One arrow at 12 yards and watched him collapse at 40 yards.

Wish I could remember where to find pics of Craig Warren's bull from Maine this year.  He took it with a bow he made and broadheads from his first hunting season 50 years ago or something neat like that.  My only moose was with a rifle; I'd like to change that sometime in the near future.

This thread is killing me!!!!  I just found out I'm on my way to Ontario this year for a moose hunt!  10 days in late September with my dad.  We are party hunting and have a bull and calf tag!

I can't wait for September.  Looks like I'll get to put that build-along acadian woods bow to the test!

Huge pix folks, much thanks!

While elk hunting 12K' near Estes Park, Colo had (2) record book moose within 20 yards. I froze speechless in awe! Fortunately, the outfitter was with me to verify.

2009 unguided hunt in Alaska...can't wait to be back there this September.  18 yard shot --> one wood arrow --> bull ran 70 yards and crashed.

I'm planning it this year in Northern Alberta with my son who helps guide up there and a couple of young fellow Tradgangers from Arkansas. I can't wait .If you've never been on a northern Moose hunt you owe it to yourself.the whole experience from fishing to grouse shooting with family and good friends is a lifetime experience.
