N.E. Ohio need help
« on: January 30, 2010, 09:44:00 AM »
I'm new to this site  and trad. hunting, I purchased a new recurve to replace my bear supermag and was hoping there would be a person  in my neck of the woods that can help me learn to shoot. tried on my own but read that it helps to have  someone to show me the ropes.. Thank- you  :bigsmyl:

You might also look for a local Archery club in your area. There's bound to be a Trad Bow shooter there that can assist you.

Djanko has it.  The Geauga Bowmen would be some great guys to contact.  They have a website:   www.geaugabowmen.com

I am 40 miles south of Youngstown. I can let you know about quite a few good shoots coming up in the summer that you would have a ball attending. There is on in Guernsey County this fall you just don't want to miss.

Check out the Coshocton Trad shoot coming up in May-----a couple hour drive I know, but its a 2-dayer and we offer free camping. Plus, it's a fun shoot!

I have info posted in the Trad. Events section on this site.

Stay away from Don's Archery, he apparently doesn't know his arch from a hole in the ground.
:saywhat:    And...you can tell him I said that.
