Not much compares to meeting Biggie.  The guy drives 14 hours to support our JoeBuck doing his turkey seminar (which was my favorite thing about Kzoo). Marty did the same thing, except flew all the way from warm sunny Florida.  Those are friends that are good as gold.  Two of the finest.

I also enjoyed meeting and remeeting a lot of guys here.  It is great to put faces with names.  I just wish I was better at remebering all those names   :knothead:

It was great to see so many people out and about about and enjoying

I liked Monty Browning talk on bowhunting. I picked up my Wensel books to add to my bowhunting library. I shoot some Great Northern bows and I was impressed with them. Had a great time again!!!      :)

A complete whirlwind of a weekend with freinds old and new, talking, laughing, hugging - just about as much bowhunting fun as can be had without a broadhead on the end of your arrow.  It just goes so fast, and so many people to talk to - wish I could spend more time with them all.

Sure was nice not to have a snowstorm to deal with this year too!

I had a somewhat funny encounter. Rob Gillow of Outdoor Success gave me a handfull of scents for this next season. Well me being me, took the cap off one of the scents which subsequently got on my hands.
I smelled like sweet doe urine till I ran into the bathroom and washed up. Gordon Bickle from the MBH booth handed me a baggy. A wee bit too early to be thinking about that smell, LOL! I still gotta get through turkey!
Rob Gillow and his wife are great! Wished there had been more time...   :)
Just one more step please!

I am the new shooter Kenny mentions above.  Had a great time.  Learned a quite a bit.  I was most impressed with the patience, courtesy, and respect the vendors and other patrons there showed to a newbie.  I am hooked.

The few minutes I got to spend with the Wensel boys and Mike Mitten early on Friday night was cool. Each of them has inspired me in their own way. Spent a good deal of time with Angelo and Mark from Bison Gear, and had a great time talking with them. As always, I was blown away by the beautiful craftsmanship of the bows from Stillwater Archery. Very good time all around. The one thing I didn't see that I looked for was the booth that KME sharpeners were at. I made a couple of passes, but somehow missed them. Already looking forward to next year.

Glad to hear everyone had a great time.   Can't believe I missed it ("wheels" fell off both my rides at the same time     :bigsmyl:

I too got to meet a bunch of guys, it's always humbling to me that so many of you share MY bowhunting passion!

Denny Sturgis, my GOOD friend, did put a sign on my back at breakfast Saturday morning and let me walk around with it most of the morning. The waitresses thought they were being awfully mean to me. When I finally was made aware of it, I went to the BW booth and called him out........he laughed at me.........

The sticker said something along the lines of " I'm Gay and Happy"..or something.....Of coarse marty and i were sitting on either side of him so i guess the whole resturant was trying to figure out who was Biggie's significant other .....makes sense now why john Dill and Batman were at first reluctant to sit with us...............Perfect Denny!!!.....

I also brought a friend that took up trad archery in the last year and a half. He shot almost every bow in the place and had a real good time at his first expo. I enjoy talking to some of the big names in archery. They are the most down to earth people I have ever met.

I think you were his partner and I have a picture to prove it! Ha! I've been threatened with retrobutition if I post it- BUT I forwarded it to several people- Maybe they are braver than I!

A good time was had by all. I learned that Denny isn't the hard ass his pictures show him as! In fact- you can't wipe the smile off the guys face!! Lighten up in the hero shots Denny!!!!

Yeah I did as well, my buddy has only been shooting since the first of the year. He was/is blown away by it all, he has got it bad, real bad! He shot every bow he could just to get an idea of what he likes, well, I think he already found it, in his very short time shooting a Longbow he has ordered 2 bows already and sold his wheelie bow! LOL!

The Trad Expo at K-zoo is like a “fraternal” trade show. The camaraderie between vendors and customers is very special. I’ve never seen anything like it. Mike

Hey Biggie, I know the sticker you're talking about. Denny invited me over to his place last summer to shoot his blunt coarse with a bunch of guys. When I left there was "That sticker" on the passenger side door of my Jeep that I didn't see. I drove all the way home with it on there for all to see that I passed on the highway....   :o  It's a wonder that I didn't have some fellows follow me home.

Our buddy Denny is quite the prankster, I've told him that pay backs are HE double L ...   :knothead: ......   :biglaugh:
