I'm not much of a movie buff, but that trailer looks really good. Looks like i may be going to a theater this summer.

Russell Crowe was made for that kind of movie. Splendid actor he was in "Gladiator". Looks to be an excellent movie, with the same director also as in "Gladiator", Ridley Scott. Can't wait to see this one!

At the end of the trailer did you notice the double nock set on that string?

Can't wait.  Russell Crowe is a great actor and somehow always makes a great character better.  Should be a lot of fun.

I read about this movie awhile back and have been looking forward to seeing it every since then. Supposedly it's going to be a much darker version of Robin Hood than the previous films starring Errol Flynn or Kevin Costner. I think that Russell Crowe is an excellent choice for that part and I'm confident that Ridley Scott will make an exciting film.

Can't help but wonder, though, who made the longbows for the film? I'm also curious if Russell Crowe took shooting lessons? Perhaps we'll get the answers when the film gets released.

Bow looked oaken to me.
Yup, double nock set.

I  WILL  go see this One on the Big Screen, and Buy the DVD as soon as it hits the Streets!!
  I just Cannot Envision Russell Crowe as the Son of an English Lord/Nobleman. The Man is a "Gladiator"!!  HE  Should Be Playing "Spartacus"!!  NOT  an Errol Flynn Type Role, JMHO of course.  :rolleyes:
 Guess I will see what it will be!! I am Glad to See a  NEW  "Robin Hood" Movie Though,  :archer:   no matter  WHO  Plays Him!!  :clapper:    :clapper:

My wife read this about the movie;

“He doesn’t have the old Robin Hood tights… He’s got armor. He’s very medieval. He looks, if anything, more like he did in Gladiator than anything we’re used to seeing with Robin Hood.”

and said, if he did, he would have to shoot a wheelie bow in the movie!   :biglaugh:
